| The Purpose of NYFRF |

NYFRF in no way believes that our salvation could ever come through right legislation. Eternal salvation comes through faith alone in Christ alone (Jn. 14:6, Eph. 2:8-9). Yet we recognize that the Church has historically fulfilled a vital, even prophetic role in speaking out on the moral issues of its day. We believe that the Church, through the presence of the Holy Spirit, is a preserving and restraining influence on the culture whose bent is not toward God (2 Thess. 2:6-7). Our mission is to motivate the Church to live up to its calling as salt and light (Matt. 5:13-16) and be the voice that declares “Thus saith the Lord” concerning the vital moral issues of our day. As Christians, we are called to be wise stewards of all that is entrusted to our care – including our freedom. In order for Christians to be wise stewards of their civic responsibilities, they need to be educated citizens. The ministry of NYFRF helps educate the Church by: |
