Rev. Motley is New Yorker’s Family Research Foundation's (NYFRF) founder. He also serves as senior lobbyist with New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms.
Duane holds a B.S. in Physics and Math, M.S. in Instrumentational Sciences, Bachelor in Theology, and a LLD. in Humanities. For 13 years, he worked as a Research Engineer for Eastman Kodak, before God called him to serve in full-time ministry. In 1966, the Motley family was one of three, founding families that started First Bible Baptist Church in Rochester, NY. Duane later left Kodak to serve on the staff of his home church. During the five and a half years that Duane served on the pastoral staff, he organized and directed North Star Bible Institute and served as business manager. A religious freedoms court case, between First Bible Baptist Church and the state of New York, revealed the need for Christians to have a lobbyist before State government. Responding to the need, In the Spring of 1982, Duane started NYCF to make certain that there was a "Christian Voice in Albany". In 1990 he founded New Yorker’s Family Research Foundation (NYFRF) to educate Christians on legislation before state and federal government pertaining to religious freedoms, moral values and family issues. If you would like to schedule Duane for your church service or civic meeting, please call 585.225.2220 or e-mail him. |
