Rev. Tom Stiles is an ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Over a period of 30 years he served as the pastor of three churches, before joining the staff of New Yorker's Family Research Foundation (NYFRF) in June 2000. Rev. Stiles currently serves as NYFRF's Director of Church Relations.
Rev. Stiles enjoys debating representatives of opposing view points. He has debated evolutionists over the radio, a secular humanist at the Albany and Syracuse Law Schools and advocates of the homosexual agenda at a public school and a Catholic college. Rev. Stiles is a graduate of Maranatha Baptist Bible College (BA - 1970) and the Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary (MRE -1973 and MDiv-1979). He also completed his classes for a Doctor of Ministry degree at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Rev. Stiles was formally ordained as a Baptist minister on April 5, 1972 by the County Line Baptist Church of Coopersville, MI. Rev. Stiles and his wife, Barbara, have been married since 1970. They have four grown children who are in fulltime Christian service including a daughter serving as a missionary in Japan. They have eight grandchildren. Barbara teaches first grade at the North Star Christian Academy, and travels with Tom as much as possible. They are members of First Bible Baptist Church in Rochester, NY. Tom has a life long interest in American history, politics and government, but his first love is preaching God’s Word. His burden is to see America turn to God (revival).
